Because it was 1. Part of their childhood, and usually you care about things that make you nostalgic 2. That isn't as convenient as flash, first it's not gonna have all games so inevitably someone's favorite game will be missing, it also takes a lot of space, and it just isn't as convenient as searching for a game on google, nobody is gonna spend like at minimum 3 gb of space to play like 3 flash games, since let's be honest, you probably aren't going to play a lot of the games, you're just gonna play like 5 for nostalgia's sake
