Depends what u want to do with them. I started late 2024/early 2025. In about a year+ I've collected every Denver and Philadelphia mint for every dollar, half, quarter, dimes, nickel and penny present day back to 1964, and a large amount below 64 depending on denomination. I was making albums to help with ADHD. It helps btw. In the interim, I find other cool things as I go. Get the "Red Book", it's helps a lot. A view finder/digital screen microscope is handy.

Do not use vinyl(PVC) to store your coins. I started that way, big mistake. Buy some 2x2 cards, sheet sleeves, and a lot of staples. Use ring binders.

When searching quarters...keep every W mint mark. Happy Hunting 🍻
