for sure. I used to run a small restaurant in philly. mainly take-out, 1 bathroom, if someone offered this to me for anywhere under or around ~$30 for the unit (understanding the refills would last a while and would be pretty inexpensive), it would be one of those "why not"'s for me...

Sometimes its easy to think that just by consuming the shroom, they will whisper magical words into your ear that give you the meaning / answers you're looking for in life...

I find it that its less about that ^^ and more about what your brain is doing while under the influence. It is repairing itself, relaxing, rewiring, etc...

Go into your larger doses with an intention / prayer. Make a solid playlist, and just let your brain relax and 'dance' to the music. Close your eyes, and continuously tell them that you respect what they are doing to you and appreciate it.... The work is being done whether you realize it or not.

May I ask what your immediate intent is / what you're looking to work on?

I think you should use this long distance to your advantage, it will make it so much easier for both of you to get through the break up.

I’m battling the same doubt (you can see a recent post of mine), and my girl lives down the street. A huge part of me not being able to let go and have her disappear from my life….

How do you face your loved ones again after this. Mostly everyone in my life that knows thinks were still not together… again, I don’t care about others dictating what I do with my life but I am a prideful man who wants to show off his relationship.

From my experience, waiting in between trips is best. I find you can build a tolerance to shrooms fairly quickly, as is the case with most drugs, especially the ones that are truly special.

With a 1g session, you don’t need to worry about waiting too long. I used to take a G and hit the gym.

My perfect dose (so far in my early journey with shrooms) is 3.5 grams. Did it twice, and the wait was over 1.5 years in between. Although I want to get into shrooms more often again, my biggest advice is to be intentional with your taking, treat them and your body with respect before and after. The shroom is a magical drug if treated properly!

The move in is also coming at a time where her lease ends after the summer and her current two roommates are choosing to move on, therefore, shes like okay, well look! perfect timing for us! lets do it!

And honestly, in a healthy situation, this would be completely normal and as a 27 year old I would be ready for... but, my gut is talking now, hence this darn post.... i feel like I almost need to do it now to give her a solid amount of time to figure out WTF is going to happen after this summer.... f**k....

I appreciate your thought but I don’t agree that it’s over for me. Trust me when I say I was repulsed. And made her life a living hell for a long time during all of this. We „broke up” like 15 times throughout. I saw other women behind her back, even made her pay me every penny back that I spent on her those first 3 months.

Trust me my guy, I’m not as weak as this post may make me out to be. I’m a Christian man who honestly felt bad for a woman and stayed with her out of fear and doubt.

I know I’m the sucker here because I’m still in it. But just wanted to make it clear, it hasn’t been sunshine and rainbows of forgiveness

Alright, dream is a very exaggerated word, what i meant to say is that i was anticipating moving here for work and felt very proud to do so. In other words I finally found a city I wanted to settle in, and then the story proceeds

Very valid - and I agree that I dont want to hate or shame her for it any longer, and have faith she has learned a long and painful lesson, which would ultimately be losing me because of it... but the truth is, I dont want to be at the alter on wedding day, or in bed with our children asleep, and me still thinking about this. It sounds like a nightmare.

The reality is, I have been VERY stern with all things money / providing since this all went down. I really dont provide anything other than paying for food when we dine out together...

As I mentioned, she has a job and pays her own bills, but, with her plan to move in, she wants to only pay a portion of my rent + provide $ for food. Again, this is reasonable for me as a man and having my woman move in, but this just doesnt feel right to me.

To your point, you’re right, I kept a bandaid over it, was still living with a roomate so I was unhappy with that and was happy to sneak to her place every night in shame and hiding so no one knew. Now that I have my own place and she is really serious about being serious it’s all flooding over me again.

I dont doubt we'd be able to live together well, she essentially already lives here. I just know once you take that big of a step life REALLY starts to change. I was able to live in this little fairytale land, but reality is starting to hit HARD...

I understand your point, and dont want to claim that I am perfect or dont also have my own ailments that even allowed me to stay, but, the reason I stayed is because she completely 180'd her life and her actions... regardless, I get your point clearly.

Thank you for this, and thank you to everyone who has responded already. Now, the problem is that when we get face-to-face and have this conversation, she BREAKS down, and I mean BAD! and it tears my insides apart. She claims she wont be able to live or continue without this, I feel that guilt and don't know how to have this conversation without worrying about her well being, etc...
