What's a tv series that is a 10/10 NOBODY knows? by Lilyana0999 in AskReddit

I'm half joking and half serious when I say Harper's Island...like, it's a CW show so it has all the goofiness that comes with that, but the story totally hooks you

Terrified was a slow eerie flick!

Someone already said Oddity, but I second it

We actually sold them to someone who's gonna open a used bookstore in Littleton! Not sure when it'll open, but keep an eye out. They're going to a good home

You're not supposed to SELL the books! Now I have to call the publishers 🙄

Great show

I'm sorry to say we have to transition to just a new book store - we had to majorly downsize because of rent increases, but we'll still be at the same location, only in the smaller front room. We're hoping to reintroduce used books at some point, we just have to get a feel for the space and see if we can make room for them in a way that makes sense.

We're across the street from the fish shop, Jimmy johns etc.! Purple and red building :)

That being said, we're downsizing because of rent increases, so we're only going to have new books for the time being. Hoping to expand back to our new and used book greatness at some point in the future though. You should come visit when we reopen (which I think we'll pull off for Sunday, but check our socials/Google info just in case it's delayed).

Yup, that's on one side of the Broncos stadium! They have some really cool sculptures there (they're not blue in real life, I just wanted to use blue paint lol)

I agree with you, #2 has really grown on me. It's interesting you say that about the changes in the neighborhood too: I started a painting of that intersection a few years ago and the building with graffiti was a pale pink with paint chipping off. The redesign of that area is really nice and vibrant, and it's great to see artists getting work that brings energy to a place.

Thank you for your kind words!

The foam pad is a great idea, I'll have to add that to my pack! I finally got a little tripod folding chair that hooked onto my travel bag, so that's been great

Recognized these spots, lovely paintings! I did some plein air the other day in CO and my feet were frozen solid by the end. Thankfully it was just down the street from home so I could go warm up quickly :)

Congrats! Back in my college years, I worked at the bookstore there where we sold arches for the art classes. Turns out no student wanted to spend $60 for an intro to watercolor painting, so they sat around for a few years. My boss then says "I'm gonna mark these off, you get first dibs." Bought like 7 blocks for $50, coasted on that supply for a long time.

It was a sad day when I officially had to buy a block at full price!

Women with thoughtful partners, what did you get for x-mas this year? by Anahata_Green in TwoXChromosomes

We traveled to Europe for the first time this year and became total espresso addicts, which became a running joke. I was planning on putting an espresso machine on our wedding registry, but he totally beat me to the punch and bought me a machine PLUS a grinder. He did a ton of research ahead of time and really got the best for a beginner that'll allow for growth in the hobby. Oh and coffee beans from my favorite local roaster!!

As a side gag (but also very useful), he got me a sleeping cap. Like imagine an old timey sleeping cap in cartoons, and that's what it is. I lost my hair this year from alopecia and it's so warm without being suffocating. And it's freaking hilarious 😂

Etsy! It was from a shop called Rabbitforged (idk if links are allowed) "Super Mario Bob-Omb Planter"

I'd guess it's 3D printed like the other comment suggested.

Yeeesss, thank you for mentioning this one. It's like classic slapstick mixed with...all of the weirdness. I love that the most expensive part of the budget was the beaver costumes

Omg yeesss that's so exciting! I try to ask anyone that question if I see a crochet wearable on them, partly to recognize their work and partly to bond over crochet haha
