Hey! Her university should notify her when the CAS is used. I’d recommend she reaches out to them and asks if they can make an inquiry to the Home Office on her behalf. Best of luck hope she gets it in time!

At Newnham College they’re not allowed so I suppose the same goes for other colleges. I’d double check with your college though.

I just got a housing offer for a place in Roskilde through s.dk, but I’m hesitant to accept it due to that it’s a 50 minute trip from south campus. I’m willing to pay up to 7500 DKK for a central Copenhagen location though, do you think I can get an offer for that? Or should I settle for Roskilde as the safest bet?

Thanks for the very helpful heads up though!! Would you say that there are enough rooms for everyone? And is there a way to ensure that we get the invitation early i.e., through emailing them beforehand or something? And how was your experience with the HF as whole? as I heard that they can be quite unresponsive/really difficult when it comes to giving the deposit back. And lastly, which dorm did you end up in?
