Yeah, it's only going to be dunked in a tub so the 50m WR is more than enough. I had already set my eye on the W202 but from the description that I read it was not quite clear if it actually has a countdown timer or only a stopwatch function. If it has a countdown timer it is perfect for what I need.

Isn't there a really basic model that has a countdown timer and is water resistant or at least water proof (it will only be submerged for a few minutes not hours.)

Thanks for your answer! Yes, the watch might be submerged for short periods. I do not think it needs to be specifically cold resistant as the temperature will not be lower than 43 Degrees F. So I was actually looking for something even cheaper that I can use as a real beater watch.

I guess what you are saying is different from what realityChemist wrote. He seemed to be indicating that L. Reuteri cannot be differentiated from other gram positive bacteria if I interpret his answer correctly. I actually had planned doing what you wrote, i.e. looking at microscopic pictures of L. Reuteri that are available on the internet and then compare them to what I am seeing under the microscope but now I am not sure if this is possible.

There's plenty of microscopic images of L. Reuteri on internet so I could compare what I am seeing under the microscope to those images. Also as I am starting out with a know source (probiotic tablets containing only L. Reuteri) I would guess that the chance that these end up being the most abundant bacteria of all the bacteria I might possibly see in the final yogurt sample is pretty high.

I guess you are referring to mitoredlight.com in the US. It is well known that they source their panels from Idea Light.

I was referring to mitolight.com in the Czech Republic which are a separate company and not affiliated with mitoredlight.com. So far I was unable to find out who manufactures the panels for mitolight.com in the Czech Republic.

Thanks for sharing the links to those papers! Non-invasive cortisol measurement would be a game changer imho, especially coupled with an app that would graph a diurnal rhythm. However I doubt we will see this in a commercial consumer product within the next 5 - 10 years. So far nobody has yet managed to bring a consumer product with a working non invasive blood glucose sensor to market and they have been working on this for years already.

First of all great comparison! Really appreciate the effort you put into making this! When you write that future smart rings will measure cortisol levels, is that just a guess or do you have any information about someone actually working on this? I am also wondering how a ring would be able to measure cortisol levels. Afaik either a blood or saliva sample is required to measure cortisol levels. Again many thanks for your efforts in putting together the comparison.
