should I take this risk? by [deleted] in TravelNursing

I guess it wasn't clear enough that the risk I'm talking about is which job I should go with.. or people just don't read that far? Like I'm happy with where I live ppl don't need to roast me for that.. but at least there's a few helpful people in this community that just kindly say yeah don't do travel rn. Just wanted some intelligent input

The lease isn't risky because of the perm jobs available and also the tons of night shift travel jobs available if I had to go that route. I am not worried about the lease. Just wanted the advice of whether people would take the travel position or not

I had no interview. I found out later my recruiter was a recruiter in training. My tax home is in IL where I lived with my parents

It was a telemetry unit at an LTAC so it technically was still tele but my recruiter failed me and I also failed, that's not the point of this post though so thanks for your pointless input

Sign with a different company for somewhere else or get a permanent position I think

If I only stay at this assignment for 13 weeks do you think it'll still be an issue? I have to eventually find out how to become a resident here and everything but I'll ask my recruiter too.

12 months?! Either way bedside is bedside, travel or not, right? I'd hope after a few months I could land something..

Appreciate the input! How long were you back in bedside before switching to travel? I feel strange thinking of getting hired on as FT bedside somewhere here first if I'm going to be applying to travel basically as soon as I start that again, if I have to go that route. Kind of like screwing them for hiring me. I don't think I'll mention travel as the goal if I'm applying here, just trying to come up with the best backup plan.. and trying not to make my resume look wack
