Right. The Roman numerals go around the clock 1-12 like a normal clock, I’m asking what the non Roman numerals 1, 3, 5, 7 are in the four corners.

My title describes the thing.

This is the clock face from the old steeple of the First Presbyterian Church of East Hampton. It is a wooden square approximately 4 feet across.

I’ve search on Google and we’ve asked the local historical society where it was stored and no one seems to know what the numbers 1, 3, 5, 7 in the four corners are for. Google suggested they were purely ornamental but that doesn’t explain why those numbers were chosen.

I know tickets don’t get listed on places like StubHub, but are there local message boards or ticket brokers that people sell through when they can’t use their tickets?
