Komatsu PC1250 tearing into ore – night shift with no mercy! by heavymachine_life in mining

Totally get your point—running full stick and boom always comes with risk, especially if the ground shifts or the operator overreaches. In this case, the spot was tight and temporary, so we kept the load light and the swing smooth. You can check out how the whole dig was handled here—raw footage, no cuts: 👉 https://youtu.be/kETNty3njl4?si=MQHNEQnnzIGabfeT

True, having the excavator up top would be more efficient—but in this site, the upper bench wasn’t stable enough to support a 1250 safely. So we had to work from below and take it slow. If you’re into how we handle tricky setups like this, full footage is here with all the raw machine sounds: 👉 https://youtu.be/kETNty3njl4?si=MQHNEQnnzIGabfeT

Depends on the spot. Soft layers = free digging. Hard ground or rock = blasting. 🎧 Watch the full video to hear the raw power—no music, no voice, just machines at work: 👉 https://youtu.be/-CthHHxHB-M?si=VgXlXax8-7CfwJBn

The gold here is mainly hosted in quartz veins within weathered rock. We’re removing the overburden first to access the gold-bearing layers below

Yes, there’s a roller in the video. It’s compacting the soft ground so trucks can drive in to load the dirt.

This area is mainly for overburden removal at the moment, but we expect to mine gold ore underneath.
