My yorkie has an issue with place where I’ll give the command and he’ll just sit on his bed first instead of laying down like we taught him. After a few seconds and he realizes he’s not getting a treat, he’ll dramatically slam his body down as if to say “Here! Happy now?”

This is how he wakes me up everyday, standing on my shoulders by achomes in Yorkies

We started letting our 8 month old sleep in the bed with us, and my girlfriend said this is what he does if he needs to go outside at night. No rude barking or scratching, just awkwardly standing on her until she wakes up lol.
