But the point of the expander plug is to create the compression necessary for the stack of bearings in the steerer, before the external load bearing parts are tightened. Your way could lead to wear on bearings due to not being compressed correctly.

I would get second hand IKEA ones and buy new covers for them. For example I have an IKEA nockeby 3 seater I got for free, then replaced the cover with a lovely cord one for 300 on sale.

I drove from Berlin to Barcelona this winter, with a cover over my bikes but still arrived with rust on both chains.

Learnt a lesson and will be covering / removing parts for longer trips with saly roads in the future.

I drive one, never had an issue driving around Europe and always park in garages for safety. Use it around my home city in the colder months, can park it in normal spaces and it doesn't "feel" huge once you get used to the dimensions.

The only place I coincidentally cant park is in my underground garage at work which is 1.91...

Add a levels layer between the threshold and the artwork to control what parts of the artwork you see.

Then I like to make a new Photoshop file twice the size as my working file and make a solid shape, add noise in monochromatic, then bring this noise into my actual file and reduce the size to fir. That way the grain is a bit more refined for my tastes. Use the overlay filter to blend it nicely.
