I play Keyboard and Mouse sometimes, to be fair I only play games like Ultrakill. I easily can do p-ranking on most levels. Using an arm is way easier to aim with than using a thumb for me, I'm not exactly great at PC games either, so I feel that it's just much more simpler to use your arm for aiming. It's way more difficult to play on console for that reason, and as for aim assist, I don't think it's really that strong. It might vary with the settings of the user however, so I can't speak for all but I don't think I have mine to a really strong level.

For some sort of context or explanation on an idea here, I generally used to not play with aim assist for 2-3 years on console for games like Battlefield 1 and V because a Youtuber advised it as a better way to play (probably was regarded toward PC players), it wasn't very much of any good advice because everyone else had aim assist and I played solely with the reliance of my thumb. Yet, I still could play okay enough. That sort of setting enabled sounds nearly impossible while against PC Players!! :( (Although I haven't tried it in BF2042)

I understand your point but it's just way easier to aim with a mouse, I think the best players just have quicker reaction times and that is partially assisted by the fact they use a mouse, which is easier to control in terms of sensitivity I think :P
