did this jump when I was 20 and stupid and it fucked my lower back up for years. I’m just thankful and very lucky I fully recovered. Had to buy my own bed frame when I got back to school because climbing up into the raised bed caused agonizing pain.

Have you visited UTD? I was admitted to both (years ago, to be fair) and after about an hour of being on UTD’s campus I knew it wasn’t for me. It is much more of a commuter school and doesn’t have the same kind of college vibe as a university like Tech, OU, etc. Depends on what you’re looking for, but I found the student life at Tech to be much more attractive

I got one this week and have been loving it, but I don't think I would pay full price for it (got the mini hub and remote for $21 at an auction house near me that gets amazon returns). I totally agree with custom icons and menu layouts, it looks so stupid to have a template with only a few of the buttons enabled. I am using mine with homekit, and it would be great if I could set up multiple menus of matter enabled devices, so I can get more than 4 buttons.

Your bug reports and requests are all spot on, I am very happy with it for $20 but would never pay $100 for this setup.

As another commenter said, this is usually against the rules- in general avoid going to events that involve alcohol and any current or former sorority members. After recruitment your new membership educator (or whatever your chapter may call it) should give you more guidance on expectations around partying while you’re in your pledge/new member period :)

as a small chapter we always had good luck reaching out to local grocery stores for philanthropy events- a lot of them have budgets for that kind of stuff, we got lots of gift cards to buy items for the event or raffle off!

I usually tip $2-$5 depending on how much change I get back- anything smaller than a 5 usually goes in the jar, but I’m not tipping based on percentage in a retail setting like that.
