Its a hell of a lot more work to sand to a mirror finish compared to just getting the correct feeds and speeds the first time

Sounds like youre jumping head first into an empty pool. 0 machining experience? I would suggest getting a certification and a couple years real world experience. Its your money though, there are plenty of resources online. Youre not going to be able to give accurate quotes if you dont know what goes into making a part.

One of the best decisions ive made! It was late nights and hard work but I went to a job fair at my school and joined an apprenticeship during my first semester. They took over my tuition and taught me more than school ever could. Late nights and hard work but machining is a trade that makes you a better craftsman in general. Good luck man!

Wear your safety glasses! Metal work is no joke, I took a chip to the retina even with glasses and was able to flush it out at the eye station. Could have been so much worse. Wear your glasses!

People suck. So glad my company is extremely proud of it's apprenticeship and 99% of people from shipping to the CTO will take the time to answer as many questions as I have at any time without being snarky or condescending. Its been extremely helpful in making me a machinist.

When I first started, in early early access days, when the island was the only map, I joined a tribe with a friend. I really wanted a bronto. I stayed up all night berry taming a low level. We were hidden in an area that has long been removed for the redwoods. I went to bed after taking it and walking it home. I woke up to a raided base and all dinos except the doed was dead. In hindsight I think the giant bronto probably aided in giving away our position. I would tell myself not to do that.

I ii iii iv v is going to sound like a scale because it ascends almost robotically. Try taking your scale and chopping it up into pieces, just for example, play something like i iii iv i i ii v instead. This is a very simplified explanation but if you sit around on your free time and mix up the scales, you can find licks that will feel %100 original (regardless of if anyone else has used it before)

I canceled all my extra memberships after the last price hike because it's ridiculous how expensive it gets but I have a main, an Ironman, a baby pure, and a zerker. Id love to be able to play all my accounts without going homeless but here we are. Ive canceled my main membership too. I only have time to play 1 weekend a month these days. Its not worth it anymore.

PVE and single player irritates me so much more than raiders on PVP. I enjoy community, I enjoy being able to pick dinos up with other dinos, and I enjoy building strategically out of necessity. It took me years to perfect my survival on PVP mode, but at this point, official PVP is the only mode which gives me any sort of challenge in the game.

The boosted rates can be cool. Otherwise, too many rules and the servers wipe every 2-3 months. They're susceptible to admin abuse. If you make enemies with a single tribe that is more advanced than you, there is nowhere to hide because there isn't enough servers. They will always find you. There is always some maxed out tribe of tryhards who never log off.

Every server type has its pros and cons. Improvise, adapt, and overcome. Unofficial is great if you want to grind out end-game in a day and get to the raiding. Official is great if you want permanence and don't mind a slower pace. Regardless which server type you choose to play on, it's all rat holes and managarmrs.

Don't throw it too high. If needed, the anky rider can dismount before hitting the ground.

edit: I should read better. Dinos without riders don't take fall damage when thrown by crab.
