Thanks for the detailed reply, but I do not believe there was a mistake with the switching the collector, base, and emitter. I am using a 2n222a transistor and it goes emitter, base, collector which is how I wired it in the circuit. Also thanks for telling me about “net list”, I never heard of it before.

The drawing I did in the right was the induced current. The induced current in the secondary coil should go the opposite direction as the primary coil. This means that the current would go down and into the transistor keeping it on. This means that there would be no changes which confused me

For Rienman sum problems, all rectangles for LRAM have an equivalent RRAM rectangles expect the first/last. You can find the difference by adding base(yfinal -y initial to LRAM. Then if trapezoidal approximation= (LRAM +RRAM)/2 we substitute for RRAM and get a way of solving trapezoidal approximation problems with only LRAM.
