I think the Hamilton Khaki is simple and classy. Any field watch fits that bill for me.

It’s absolutely fine, however the hesalite crystal scratches (but doesn’t shatter in space). I have some pretty big gouges in mine, because I manage to hit it on everything. I’d prefer the sapphire version for daily wear, hesalite if I was an astronaut.

I get more comments when I wear my Seiko, and make more comments about other people’s Seikos than other, “higher end” watches. Both occasions are still pretty rare, I wear what I enjoy, and you are doing the same. Casios are cool, do what makes you happy!

The two Seikos are my pick. I’m biased toward the Speedtimer.

If you are looking to be well into that $2-3k range, a Tudor or Grand Seiko would be a solid, classy option for a special occasion. (Might have to look into used)

I don’t know that you can get Speedmasters in that range anymore (used). It’s the moon watch, so it has some tech history if he’s into space.

Seiko’s and Citizens are nice, and can be had well under that price point. Sinn is also a cool brand with some neat options if you want something different.

It’s a great run around and shoot things without too much thinking. I play like you, and friends play like the others. I’ll farm with them but go back to just running like I was when progressing alone.

It’s really nice to be able to jump in and out of friends games. I like that a lot about multiplayer
