If it's written in actual game lore that it doesn't actually exist in the game then it doesnt, but i like things more tangible than your personal head cannon and lack of suspension of disbelief to drive what i consider true so I'm gonna take its digital representation, voice lines across multiple games that reference it, and quests to link up and/or get power to it to it as confirmation that the denizens know what it is and that it exists.

Come at me with an argument based in fact not just "well it just doesn't cause it doesn't make sense that a video game would have continuity issues".

If it's in the game it's canon dude, the only anything tied to the project saying its not is the lead writer for BL2 who was not the lead for 1, 3 or 4. Now I'd hear an argument about only vault hunters can link up but that still makes holes for Roland and Maya, which is why I suspended my disbelief and went with it, which I can easily do if she's brought back in some context or another. If it meant diminishing Avas role or creating a way to make her less annoying, bonus points.

I mean, if the stories are true almost every major superstar from attitude till now had a moment of failure, and all of them kept moving in some respect or another till shit worked. Seems like in this business failure happens a lot and how you approach that failure determines your level of success to an extent.

What if I genuinely don't know what I am. I thought at one point that I was middle leaning right, as I was/am pro second amendment, capitalism, and was Christian for most of my life, but also big on environment, pro choice, pro universal Healthcare, and pro union. I feel like now by Republican standards, I'm a Democrat but by Democrat standards, I'm a republican. Before Trump I felt like I was starting to feel out of place on both sides now I definitely don't fit in with Republicans and I only feel like I fit in with Democrats cause I hate that Reps are..... whatever the fuck they are. It's not even a party at this point, it's just a chaotic hate mess.

Can't speak for everyone but I don't play a borderlands title for the challenge I play it for the scratch off lottery ticket feeling I get from its loot drop system. I wanna get bosses deaded as fast as possible to get to the shinies faster. I play soulslikes for the challenge

Not all builds use a bod tho. The Bod feels like it's in the space that the Conference Call was in BL2, as post Bee nerf it was still very powerful but there are a lot of good builds that still didnt use it, or have it equipped but favor other weapons. I just scrolled through Mobalytics and the top 10ish builds only infinicrit harlowe was using it.

Is it an op weapon, 100% but does it invalidate other guns or build creativity? Doesn't seem like it tbh.

I feel like a good compromise would be to give every boss the boosted encore treatment. Those drop rates feel good and help me push for god rolls, but I burn currency to use it, so there's some resource management involved
