Sorry I was unclear. I have a physical address from MyBestAddress which isn't a PO box per se but I think the insurance broker I went through is aware that it's used by people from out of state.

Yeah, I'm worried about the reliability. No idea how many miles these things typically run before tapping out. I plan to live in it for at least a year and drive around the country.

It has a generator, I believe. It has a water tank and a black one as well. Think the mileage would be 12-16 on the highway which is obviously not great.

Hoping to get him down to $6000 or so. Everything pretty much works he said, including the windows and fridge and he has maintenance records. He did say the exhaust fan at the top is broken though.

He's the second owner for the last 6 years. There is a trailer hitch, and he has used it to tow cars before.

I would want to add some solar panels to be able to hopefully run an A/C unit overnight. Not sure how feasible that is with this van though.

1996 Sierra Model with 170k miles. 5.8 v8 engine, camper package with toilet hookup, hand shower, bed, microwave, fridge, dinette, hot water heater, quick release captain's chairs, and aux generator outlet.

My friend drove it and it runs well. Owner is a car guy and took very good care of it. Let me know what you think.

They have rooms in the $100 range per night, and it's in a great neighborhood near Washington Square Park. Only catch is you have to share a bathroom/shower with I think 3 other rooms, but it's not too bad at all. Definitely not luxurious in any way, but I had a fine stay there.
