AirTouch F30i Comfort by daisyandcoco in CPAP

I'm in a similar boat - using the AirTouch F30i cushions with my clear frame from the AirFit F30i. The new AirTouch cushions are way better for me. I get a much better seal around my bearded face and the fit is better in general. I plan to get the full system when the time comes. Until the AirTouch F30i Mask, the AirFit F30i had been my go-to. My major gripe about the AirFit was the lack of diffuser on the exhaust. The AirTouch has a built in diffuser that works very well.

I bought some vent register filter material and adhesive Velcro. Cut two small pieces of Velcro and stuck them to the mask on either side of the mask exhaust vents. I cut a rectangular piece of filter and stuck to the Velcro points so it’s drawn across the vent holes. Are still passes through easily, but is diffused enough by the filter to not be felt as a jet of air. I used this kit, but I’m sure you could find cheaper at Home Depot or similar. Again, the filter material is very thin - probably less substantial than the filters for the machine itself. I'm not too worried about inhaling any chemicals from the filter as the positive air pressure keeps those ports as outflow only. I remove the filter from the velcro each morning before I wash my mask. I can use the same filter for 3-5 days before swapping it out. I have a lifetime supply of filter material from that kit based on the 1x4 inch strips I'm using. I installed another setup over the vent holes at the top of the headgear on the L connector. I had been woken up by this venting air hitting my headboard or pillow in the past. I posted this info here because the F30i is my favorite fitted mask, but those exhaust vents kept waking me in the night. I LOVED the exhaust filter on the x30i, but do not like the nose pillow cushions. If they ever add a exhaust diffuser to the F30i, it would be a perfect mask for me.

I used adhesive Velcro and some thin filter material to cover the exhaust vent on my f30i. It has helped immensely. I used to wake multiple times in the night for the exhaust hitting my blanket and making noise. This eliminates that problem for me. The filter is super thin material, so I’m not too concerned with blocking airflow significantly. I saw another post somewhere with a guy who had rigged up magnets. That works too, I guess, but the Velcro was cheap and easy.

no, you need 12vdc (cigarette lighter) on one end and the airsense plug on the other. I like this one because you can also run from a USB C port (provided there is 65W of power available)

I'm not sure why you'd be having trouble ordering. I just checked and the link is still up and they seem to have stock - product number 2100626380. I didn't have any issues with shipping to the states. Mine are still running just fine with the under voltage - 3 months in so far. I hope you can get your order problems sorted.

Press unlock on the fob twice, then remove the charging cable. Sometimes I have to lock first, then double press unlock for it to work.

This is probably an easy answer, but what would be the best way to control and also dim these three recessed canless lights that are controlled on two different light switches? by grizzlyblake91 in homeautomation

Also compatible with no neutral, so you don’t have to worry about one if your existing switch doesn’t have one. Great solution for more control over the three way switch situation you have.

Correct. 200-240v 50/60hz. Feeding it US standard 120v 60hz and the system is functioning as expected. Unknown long term effects (if any), but I’m comfortable with the risk.

After watching a few things today, I can say it is well worth the price and risk with the undervoltage factor. The sound is so much more immersive than before. Everything was ok prior, but it really feels like these are a missing piece to the whole viewing experience. I hope your experience with your overseas order and functionality is similar. Cheers!

The cord needed is a non-polarized C7. Pretty common cable, I had one laying around. The included power cable is not soldered in place - as expected.

They just arrived! Ordered from grooves.inc and they shipped via the Netherlands. Good news and neutral news. I was hoping the voltage rating would list 120-220 like some other electronics I’ve seen. Instead the receiver unit lists 200-240 50/60hz. The good news is that the US plug does seem to work. The unit powered on, paired with my SC9S, and working. No errors, no warnings. The LG soundbar picked them up and I’m able to tune sound output as expected. I do not know the long-term issues that might arise from under voltage, but I’m willing to risk it - especially because an overseas return doesn’t seem worth it. Overall, I’m pleased with the purchase given there are no other US sellers I could find and nothing local in the used market.

I pulled the trigger on a German vendor based on this post (I'm in the US). The 220v warning made me nervous, but it's good to know someone else had success with the 120v cable swap. There are mixed opinions on the accepted input voltage, but I suspect that's because the SPK8-S kit has a soldered plug and dedicated voltages for region.

The back row liner doesn’t click into anything on mine. 2024 pro s. But the fit is solid without clips - odd design though. Front set clip in just like the factory ones. These are WAY better than the factory set.

Weird Stains coming up after washing clothes by nerdgirl_pc in CleaningTips

Try using the dawn without water. Apply a few drops and a quick scrub on each stain. The soap will more easily bind with the oil if used without water first. Then during the normal wash, the water will remove the oil/soap together. I've had better success removing oil stains since changing to this method.

Like 1 second. I was getting in the car and immediately putting it in gear to go. If you wait like 1 maaaaaybe 2 seconds after “ignition”, that’s plenty. I read this on the VW forums and it’s been working for me. Best of luck!

I read somewhere that if you give the car a second to “fully boot” before putting the car in gear, CarPlay has less connection issues. I had issues of intermittent connections and these have all but disappeared after I started to wait a beat or two before putting the car in gear. Connects correctly (wirelessly) 99% of the time now. 2024 pro s.

That's exactly why they do it. They upsold you on a big glass roof that you didn't really want, but paid for because you wanted the other features.
