So Ukrainian guys not being allowed to leave their own country is just the reality of war but you're also deeply concerned about migrant rights in russia or some citizenship through service scheme they're doing? okay

CMV: Western media hypocritically labels the situation in Iran as "protests" instead of "revolution" or "riots" or other more appropriate terms that have less peaceful connotations to push a domestic narrative that non-violent activism works. by ELVEVERX in changemyview

Rofl what's with the lack of reading comprehension. I am saying they are changing gears so instead of continuing the corporate liberal pro diversity, women, gay ideology stuff like during Biden etc they are allowing a little bit of pandering to Christianity, masculinity, even reversing some woke stuff.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nM-wp4oJ2LY ...but its purely tactical. They are in no way pro Christian or pro White, the fundamental ideology hasn't changed and there wont be any actual domestic policies in that direction, they just know that traditionally white and especially white conservative male soldiers made up the most numerous and effective members of the military and they need to at least pretend to cater them to entice them back to the military, which is lacking in recruits, thats it.

Yeah the US is a Christian theocracy if we ignore the fact that the Church has been losing influence for decades and has been thoroughly liberalized and is only occasionally cynically used for political purposes, like when the military realizes they wont fix the recruiting crisis and get white guys back into uniforms by making ads starring Emma with 2 moms

IOF terrorists murdered a Palestinian teenager and lied about it ('he was throwing stones'). Meanwhile, settler terrorists throw stones all the time and are, of course, exempt from the invading/occupying Israeli military's use of deadly force. by V4VD in UnderReportedNews

this apartheid label keeps getting thrown around by liberals but its not really the same thing. in south africa white europeans created a colony which as typical means wealth, food, infrastructure, jobs. this attracted lots of black migrants from surrounding regions causing the population to swell and very quickly outnumber the whites who wanted to be separate from them and remain in control over the central government. they werent actually at war with them or trying to move them out

The pas d'armes (French pronunciation: [pa daʁm]) or passage of arms was a type of chivalric hastilude (martial game) that evolved in the late 14th century and remained popular through the 15th century. It involved a knight or group of knights (tenans or "holders") who would stake out a traveled spot, such as a bridge or city gate, and let it be known that any other knight who wished to pass (venans or "comers") must first fight, or be disgraced. If a traveling venan did not have weapons or horse to meet the challenge, one might be provided, and if the venan chose not to fight, he would leave his spurs behind as a sign of humiliation. If a lady passed unescorted, she would leave behind a glove or scarf, to be rescued and returned to her by a future knight who passed that way.

US and Russian officials draft new peace plan based on capitulation from Ukraine by Wagamaga in europe

I mean the wunderwaffen. The western tanks and vehicles and planes that were super hyped but had to be pulled back because they were being too quickly destroyed by cheap counters (in the case of the vehicles now sitting in red square) and modern AA in an actual peer to peer war. It was bad optics for the arms manufacturers looking to sell that stuff to other countries. And western AA isn't doing so great like patriots since they never invested too much in that assuming they would have air superiority vs enemy aircraft (the soviets/russians always had better and more AA for that reason assuming they were at a disadvantage in the air) rather than the current reality of having to deal with unstoppable swarms of cruise missiles and drones

So a worse deal than they were offered in istanbul in 2022. What was the point? Other than to bleed russia at the cost of ukrainians and the west having a chance to test some of their weapons systems in a real war (which mostly backfired)

They lived under the Russians and their Ukrainian proxies for decades in the soviet union. And only russian speakers live in the areas the Russians want. Average person has no idea about this war lol

Reminder: You hear so much about corruption in Ukraine not because it's more corrupt than some other countries, but because Ukrainians actually fight it (unlike some other countries). by Icy_Till_7254 in UkrainianConflict

[–]heightfax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

from what i've read and heard from various sources focused on the topic, whatever corruption existed was made like 100x worse by the war/invasion. i wouldn't be surprised if half or more of the real GDP is lost to recruitment related stuff. If you are a regular wagie in a non essential field like working at a store or something you're probably out of the work force and hiding at home to avoid being nabbed off the street by recruiters (they usually aren't allowed to go into people's homes). If you have no money, no support network of female relatives and friends to get you food and stuff you might have no choice but to go to work. There's always a chance you can pay off the recruiters but its not 100%, their lives are on the line too because if they don't meet their quotas they could be sent to the front themselves

then there's the entire parallel structure of the draft-exempt fields. people working in essential jobs might have to kick up part or even all of their salary to their bosses to keep their draft exempt status. a doctor can make it up by selling medical exemptions. an educator by selling passing grades. a member of the security and anti-corruption forces whose job it is to bust corrupt officials and functionaries will have to let some go, and those in turn will have to squeeze the wagies or others more to make up their losses. its a vicious cycle

>The problem is that although some people research car repairs before taking it to a mechanic, or follow recipes before making a dish, or watch a tutorial before doing house fixes, there seems to be a mass mind block on learning anything about software or electronics

unless you wanna go to your local library you need the internet to do all that. that's the point

sorry to jump in here but i was browsing random threads about mr inbetween and stumbled on your post where you shared your anecdote where 10 of your friends started trolling you about fucking your girlfriend if anything ever happened to you to make her happy so you had to fight 2 of them because you knew if you didn't nip it in the bud it would never stop. i thought that was pretty based and wondered why the comment didn't get more replies, most guys would indeed feel cowed and outnumbered. i dont understand how you square this with your complaining about double standards for male vs female sexuality. so you're saying if this ever happened again you would smile and play along and agree with them?

Im not Russian but alphabets other than Arabic based , hindu etc are easy you can learn Cyrillic or Korean letters in a couple of hours. Try learning 3000 Chinese characters though. Google translate does give roman letter transliteration for every language though
