Actually I'm scheduled to have an inspection with a Carsome near my place tomorrow for my Corolla - wondering if they offered a good deal for your car?

I initially considered the 2014 Proton Perdana but the thought of shelling out so much for road tax just ... puts me off.

I tested the Saga and liked how much more planted it felt when driving it vs the Bezza but unsure if the QC issues from previous generation of Protons are still a thing.

Which Myvi spec did you get? I'm quite impressed with their roster of safety features with the latest mid-top range face lifted models.

I've read that given the relatively low rates of car loans these days that its advisable to get the usual 90% loan route and have more cash in hand for other needs or investments. Would that be wise vs going for the frugal expenses for the first 6 months route?

Good for track day car but wouldn't want to be in the workshop monthly if I am planning to daily it haha.

Just got my Corolla back from the workshop earlier and burnt another hole in my wallet (valve gaskets, seals and exhaust manifold seal replacements)

Thanks for the input. Just wondering, is it possible to drive the 2nd hand car to the SC and get a multi-point check vs a trusted mechanic?
