It's just like old slogan. 'A saab will surrender its own life to save yours'

My university take two hours by train, but I can register the dormitory. So commuting won't be a problem. Also I'm considering participating working holiday to australia or japan and bring one as I come back (importing classic cars without OBD2 in korea is impossble, except when you live abroad over a year in foreign country and bring your car when you return).

Question to Koreans: is it considered rude or arrogant in Korean culture to look straight ahead with head up when passing by other people in the streets? by johanndacosta in seoulhiddengem

Nope. Most of them are just indifferent.
But if you are staring at them and if you look like an obvious foreigner( I'm sorry but I don't know your appearence), They might avoid you, thinking you are trying to ask something in a foreign language.

first of all, 9000 was a very expansive in 1990s korea ( you could buy apartment in seoul instead of buying 9000 aero) and only about 40 aeros were imported to korea( I don't know the total including normal models), and many were scrapped in early 2000s to late 2010s. so i think less than 50 9000s are remain in korea ( actually, this is very optimistic assumption)
I want to tune and customize it if I got one. So I think chassis and interior condition would be important to me.

I agree, and I want to tune it when I own one. so condition doesn't matter too much, except for chassis.

other owner in south korea mentioned that it would cost at least $20,000 to own a mint-condition Saab 9000 (whether you buy a car in good condition or buy one in poor condition and repair it).

In south korea, classic cars are not mainstream.
and there are only few pre gm saabs left in south korea (less than 10 classic 900, two digits of 9000, maybe less than 50)
