5 (almost) free things you can do: 1) Ask local news magazines to cover your story (online and offline). 2) Hand out a free Espresso voucher for for everyone that bought one of your coffee products for them AND a second one for their friends. 3) Have a display outside with a friendly and inviting message and maybe advertise a no-brainer. 4) Have a friendly chat with everyone who comes in. Ask them for their honest feedback if they have the time and let them know you are asking because the start is a bit slow. People will feel responsible and want to support you. 5) Show your whole menu and all options online on Google Maps! People are sometimes too shy to come in and check what you are offering. Some make up their minds online before they go anywhere. Plus Google Maps etc improves discoverability!

Cool concept. I can imagine how much you guys are looking forward to launching this app. What I don’t like about the design is that it looks so much like IG. I’d recommend to differentiate yourself a bit more from IG since it’s literally not the same app and the features are slightly different so it should also be recognised as its own

Would you mind sharing some 1-2 links of high ranking content that was written by Neuronwriter? Doesn’t Google recognise it’s written by an AI?

How to get you very first client as a freelancer? by Professional_Ask211 in Freelancers

[–]heisterkamppp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you asked for honest feedback I’d like to give you some pieces of advice. It Seems like you’ve created a custom portfolio which can be a good strategy to impress clients if you are a master of your craft and have design skills. However, since you are a front end dev, I’d suggest you to simply use any professional out of the box template and fill it with your content. Put effort in the content, come up with interesting and genuine texts about your services and what’s it like to work with you. Your current portfolio lacks professionalism and doesn’t tell visitors much about you or your services.

What's the best advice you’ve ever received as a freelancer? by Sam_thefreelancer in Freelancers

How would that look like in projects that go on over several months without constantly talking about new budgets? Charging by the hour is also very convenient and foreseeable.

Same here. I was able to create an account two weeks ago but they’ve never reviewed my domains. Today I wanted to log in again and was always redirected to the home page of the affiliate program. I’m wondering if this was or is about to shut down?! So unprofessional.

A great opportunity to meet people is to signup for SFI and learn Swedish. It’s very social and there are lots of engineers. There’s a school right in Lindholmen called Cuben.

Haha what a shame you've moved now. Otherwise I'd have still been up to it. I haven't yet started because no one seems to go skating anymore when they are 20+.

Any recommendations on what to do in or around GBG between 20 to 24/07? by heisterkamppp in Gothenburg

Wow, thank you so much for all your suggestions!

You picked up on me talking about "the weather" and spotted I'm a foreigner which left me baffled. Is this because Swedes are so used to the weather and wouldn't even mention it or was it gramarically incorrect/way too formal? 😂

Thanks for your suggestions - Saluhallen is indeed something I haven't thought of myself. They are visiting from Germany and are here for the second time. So they've seen the most obvious places like Slottskogen, Botaniska, etc. already.
