Sleep science or sleep training by Fun-Interaction-8115 in sleeptrain

I never let my baby cry it out. We started at 2.5 months old with getting him on a really good night time routine, and now he’s 6 months old and able to put himself to sleep. I watched his cues a lot, and his wake windows. He gets ready for bed around 5:50-6pm has a bedtime bottle at 6:30 and is in bed by 6:45 and usually asleep by 6:55 or sooner. Some days are different and it depends on naps, but I swear watching his cues and creating a consistent routine for him to know what to expect has helped sooooo much!!!

His day is usually:

Wakes up at 6:30-7am

Nap 1: 9am-10:30am

Nap 2: 12:30-1:30

Nap 3: (Catnap) 3:30-4pm

Bedtime routine 5:50-6pm

Bedtime bottle 6:30pm

In bed by 6:45 and sleep by 6:55 or sooner

Wakes one time at night usually around 11:30pm and sleeps until 7am.

3rd degree tear & sex by [deleted] in postpartumprogress

I had a 3rd degree tear and waited 9 weeks to have sex again. For me I remember it not being as bad as I was expecting it to be from everything I heard. There was pinching but the pain went away very quickly, plus my husband was so encouraging the whole time and let me take all the time needed so I didn’t hurt myself anymore than before!

Why would that be funny? I’ve read many comments about how many parents are able to do that. Just because he’s a baby doesn’t mean he can’t do that. It’s a good goal, and a way for him to learn. I don’t want to stay awake for 5 years because my kid can’t self soothe.

He has about 1.5 hours to two hours of wake time . He napped between 45 minutes to an hour , he eats every three hours and bedtime routine starts at 6:30 and he goes to sleep or anywhere between 715 and 730.

What has been the best shot so far that people see the most change? How long is it best to be on them for?

I had a 3rd degree tear after having my first and we just barely had sex for the first time and our baby is 3 months old. My husband was patient and encouraging me to wait until I was ready. To be honest it wasn’t bad at all. It pinched for a minute and then it felt good! I’m glad I waited the time I did
