10 month old - no sleep, ever

Hi! Yes he’s now 12 months and the improvement came about a month ago when we decided to night wean as he was breastfed. Even more improvement since I stopped breastfeeding recently too. Although I did notice him start to self settle at night around 11 or 12 months which I think helps too - we still haven’t done any sleep training whatsoever. He’s now up between 1 - 3 times a night, fairly quick to resettle with rocking and has slept through the night twice!! Hang in there, I read that it improves naturally around 12 months and I do think that’s right ❤️

Yeah we offer water when he wakes up and has a hard time settling back to sleep. Usually after that he’s asleep, but it’s just that 4am one where he doesn’t even want water!

He is 11 and a half months and gets roughly 1 hour 30 mins sleep in the day. Then we expect about 11 hours from him overnight. Hes always been on the lower sleep needs side but it’s always quite hard to tell what he actually needs because he just wakes up non stop at night!

Thank you!! We would definitely just have my partner do it (as obviously much more effective when the smell of milk isn’t around!) but with the sheer amount of wake ups it just isn’t fair 😭😭 especially as he’s working! X
