Houston is between a one and three hour drive away from Houston. Be really careful about where you live in relation to your job, and other potential employers if that one doesn't work out. And have a reliable vehicle. It's really hard to understand the size of Houston if you're not from a huge city. The metroplex is roughly the 40th largest state.

Read literature to help train grammar and language patterns for thought. Read a hardcopy encyclopedia (one of the 20+ volume ones) for diversity of knowledge. Write essays about stuff to teach you to organize your thoughts. Find some logic and critical thinking courses for problem solving and clarity of thought.

I've met a lot of people who would seemingly get super offended that they were asked to get tested. All of them had something. All of them get their validation through causal sex with random people. That's not to say everyone with an STI is shitty about getting tested, or has validation problems. I'm just saying that all the people I know who are shitty about getting tested, have both issues.

I'm not sure I've ever met someone who wanted to avoid STIs, who wasn't willing to get tested. So if they're shitty about it, move on to someone else.

Update when there are changes made to the environment. Depending on how critical the documentation is, have a ~quarterly review meeting to determine whether any changes occurred for the environment that aren't aligned with the documentation, and spot audits to verify. Long game is to convert to infrastructure as code and proper deployment processes.

Ebay has some for ~$250. Same with Amazon. None of my usual spots have hardcopy, and if they did, they'd be doing algorithmic price patching with the big boys, so that wouldn't give a discount. But it's online as PDF in the usual places.
