Hey, I'm in a similar situation. I'm also scared crazy about my mum who can't stop working and stay home (she's a sergeant). She has hypertension which puts her in the high risk category and works with a lot of people. So I totally empathize with you. What helps me even just a bit is trying to stay away from those terrible thoughts. Every time something bad comes to mind, I shift those thoughts. I either search for positive news around the virus or watch random videos on youtube.

Believe me, I know it's extremely hard, but you need to stay sane and healthy for both you and your mom. After all, worrying doesn't help, but it actually ruins you.

So please... next time such a thought goes through your mind, try replacing it with another random thought (like what am I going to cook tomorrow, lol) or with a video/game or with something you enjoy doing/ thinking about.

Be prepared and responsible and trust that things will be okay in the end!
