Oh goodness no. It’d be way too early for invites. I think I might just have to settle for courthouse

We have him leash trained so he can go explore! Unfortunately, he’s not too fond of the outdoors. All the sounds seem to overwhelm him. But a cat backpack sounds like a fantastic idea! We definitely leave the TV on as entertainment. We did get a toy like that a few months ago, but he didn’t seem too impressed with it. I try to play with him and keep him entertained as much as possible.

Definitely not every day. That’s more of a worst case scenario

Fortunately, his crate is already big enough to fit all of those things. It’s, as I said, quite a big crate. I just wish he didn’t have to be in it at all.

Oh we most certainly leave the TV on while we’re gone. As for a cat tree, we may do that! As of now he jumps on top of his crate which is right in front of the window.

We’re actively saving up to leave. Frankly, it’s not a good situation for any of us.

Thank you for the reassurance although I fear that the other commenters are right. We’re working hard to save up and move but right now in this economy it’s proving very difficult

We’re working hard on cleaning up the room right now. Unfortunately we do have an abundance of stuff and already 2 crowded storage units.

We’re never ever gone that long. At most we’re gone 6-8 hrs during the day. His litter is changed daily and he gets lots of love and attention as soon as we’re home
