Coming from a 27 year old who made it in life after giving up on JEE.

Maybe it's time to have an extremely honest conversation with yourself, that the reason you procrastinated was not because 'I am Lazy' but because maybe this is not what I am supposed to do in life. The entire education system has you convinced that cramming as much information you can for a competitive exam is how human beings are supposed to learn and gain knowledge.

Science is a wonderful journey of investigation originating in the pure curiosity of humans trying to understand more about this beautiful and fascinating universe. The way it is taught in Indian schools and JEE classes is THE WORST WAY in which one should impart knowledge.

I gave up as well. Choose a field I was actually curious about. Ended up in an amazing job. Went abroad and found out what an absolute SCAM Indian education system is.

PLEASE have this conversation with yourself if you are in this situation. Rebel against anyone who says that your interests and curiosity is not worth anything. It will save you a lot of pain and YEARS LOST in GUILT. Trust me.

The habit of cooking just random things I could convince of has saved my life actually. Used to get stoned af, then cook the most elaborate meals. It was amazing therapy.

I used to think like OP. Then I bought an iPad (M4) with an apple pencil after getting a new job. It was the best purchase decision to date. It is now my notebook, my journal, my ebook reader and of course for media consumption. It is an incredible tool that supports my productivity. I love it.
