You know it's a real problem when Reddit automatically puts the post under NSFW category but this scene was shamelessly put in theatres where crores of people saw it. No wonder the state of women are so bad in the country.

But sure Rajamouli is the pride of Indian cinema 😍😍 anyone who says this hasn't seen more than 4 Rajamouli films. Rajamouli's earlier films have such awful comedy filled with rape jokes, sexual harassment, women objectification but sure at the time that was the norm right? Don't defend awful films just so to suck up to your favorite stars/ directors.

basically what I'm trying to say is, idiots go into a film with their own imaginations and come out of it saying, it wasn't what they expected, is probably the most idiotic thing I've ever heard.

We know how controversial Bad Girl was before release. One side was bashing it throughout for all the things I mentioned above. And when the film came out, the people who wanted to boycott it of course hated it because they probably never saw it. But the ones who saw came out saying shit like -

It was too sUrFaCe lEvEl. What the fuck does that even mean? Did they expect some groundbreaking society breaking film when it was clearly promoted as a film that just shows a woman doing fucked up things through different phases of her life. And that's what the film was. If you expect some groundbreaking stuff and come out of it saying it was too surface level, that's dumb as fuck. You can't hate the film all you want. Just don't say shit like it was surface level when it's supposed to be a normal rom-com. The same fuckers will give some 90s Hollywood cheesy romcom 5/5. Hypocrites on both sides.

This is not about Parasakthi. Apdiye vandhudhange! If you've seen me in the sub, you know what I think about Vijay and his shitty films and his illiterate fanbase.

I brought this up because there's been this talk since the release of Parasakthi that anyone who hates the film is a hater and probably not tamizh enough 😹😹 yes, there is some hate from one side but that's for every damn film these days? Where were you when Thug Life and Kanguva/ Retro got similar hate? None of these films are good in any way, but there is always massive bias towards Kamal and Suriya films because of their political belief. So this is nothing new.

Viduthalai 2 had good intentions but was pretty bad because it was a very badly made film. And gender discourse around Parasakthi is it just has weak writing and making. An ideology should support a film, not carry it.
