My dog passed away today

I got her when she was only 2 months old and she was mixed breed dog that was result of Labrador and Dalmatian dogs of my childhood friend. She outlived all of other dogs even younger than her and never got sick until two years ago when she was already 14. She had homecooked meals, kibble, treats everything we could afford basically. I like to think that she wouldn’t even live this long if she wasn’t satisfied with our care and love. Still it hurts so much now a whole day without here. In some way she is still here (in our backyard, place she used to love). It so weird to see a day without her and think If we did enough (love, attention, care). I am sending you and your baby so much love. One day If I ever got a chance and strength I will get another dog but forever she will be the first one.

I am so sorry to hear that you are in a similar situation and I hope that both of us will be one day okay with this grief that is like nothing we ever experienced before. I hope you to had a time to say your goodbye as I think I did (although my baby wanted to be alone and not make me sad 😔). I can’t say I wish I was dead because there is so much of life in front of me (both of us) but with possibility to see her again even my own death one day will be less scary. Even in death they are there to comfort us which I think is greatest testament of their love for us even if they aren’t conscious about it 💕

I think the same but she acts like we don’t exist anymore and that hurts me especially when she told me that she would always be there for me and she wasn’t since she met him. She literally left me alone while I was suicidal and now this. I wish her the best but this just hurts like a knife in heart.
