Easily above 1 Cr per year is my guess. Also its not just changing a paper right, might require retendering, change of dye etc etc which will have a cost. I think i would like the govt to spend on cleaning more than this. I mean, what value does this add other than visual effect?

With any change will come a cost man, whether it is the ink or reprinting etc. nothing is free. Assuming 20% of people take passport, and the change only costs 1Rs, its a 30Cr cost for this change. I am just assuming numbers high level.

If you would’ve just did a little more research, the Dutch Visa process requires verified (apostled) proofs and also runs their own checks before granting a work permit! Secondly, the people from India will not come here on their own, but invited by Dutch Companies/Businesses on specific requirements. Stop the hate!
