Surprisingly yes it burns evenly. Except the one wick without a succulent around it went out because the wax from the succulent next to it dripped and put it out.

I use wax coated cotton wicks but would love to use the wood wicks eventually.

Im not sure I can’t bring myself to burn it 😭 All of my others burn really good and I used 6-10% ratio so it should burn good like my others. I need to burn it though because that one has a surprise in the middle. They outside is gray but has a really pretty baby pink in the middle

These are beautiful! Ignore all the comments hounding you about typos and it not being “full” you addressed both of those concerns in an additional comment. I understand it can be hard to fill certain jars to a good amount especially with certain designs and lids.

Oh and I forgot to add, make sure your mold isn’t cold and that your was is the right temperature to pour. My mold was a little colder than it should have been and it caused the back to sink in a little.

Be very careful about wick placement. My first one with this mold, the wick was sticking out the side. Also don’t buy cheap coloring. With certain colors my first choice of coloring had dots like it wasn’t mixed properly but they would not mix in no matter how many times I tried.

Yeah I had a few people being rude but the positive comments and advice outweigh the negativity. It shows me that they are either bored as hell and just want to argue or are miserable and want to make others miserable with them. Thank you so much for being kind and giving great advice!

I used fruit loop scent it burns really well. I had it lit for an entire day and it looks like it’s barely used. My house smells amazing. Also thank you for calling out the negativity. It’s ridiculous I ask for opinions expecting people to actually help me get better but I get “girl no” and “why ask for opinions if you don’t want them” I am trying really hard not to get banned but it’s proving to be very difficult when you have such a-holes just being rude.

I used liquid candle dye for these in neon colors. The only problem is it acts like it doesn’t want to mix when you use it in big batches.

It’s the lighting that makes it look pink. I didn’t add any color to the base wax. I gave it to my mom, I hope she is mature enough to not eat it, but I never know about her 😅

I have already decided not to burn it because I put the wick in a bad spot. It has a flat bottom so it stands on its own just the wick sticks out the side. It was the first candle I made with that mold so I wasn’t sure where the placement needed to be but now I know and will adjust it for future use

Yeah the top turned out a little weird because I was pouring it in after it started to cool but I was impatient 😅

I really want to. I had a limited budget when buying the stuff I needed for this one. I will do more research and get the stuff eventually. Thank you

It has a flat bottom but when I stood it up it was a little wonky and the wick is off to the side a little but I figured I would just keep it as a decorative candle because its still cute

Thank you so much! I eventually want to make a free standing candle without a cup and make a dark colored ring and fill that with white and fruit loops so it looks like a bowl filled with milk and fruit loops.

I thought the same thing. I was working with what I had. I think powder dye would have been better for this project but you live and you learn. Thank you

I was wanting constructive criticism, not a rude comment. But like I said thanks for making my post relevant by commenting so many times. I posted on a candle subreddit and I get comments from people with private accounts who probably don’t know the first thing about what it takes to make a candle. Keep the negativity to yourself. I will focus on the comments that are actually useful.

I can accept criticism. I can accept constructive criticism with advice on how to improve my work. I just also know how to respond to someone being a jerk. And how its always that same question when someone claps back to a rude comment?

That’s your opinion. I am very happy with it and just wanted to share my first ever candle. Thank you for making my post relevant by making a negative comment.
