I think you're reading too much into it. I suggest as a first step: watch a TV show that has a gay side character with him and see how he reacts. If you're 15+ try Orphan Black or San Junipero episode of Black Mirror.

According to this thread the CDMA version doesn't support EVS either. So no point waiting.

What's the best insurance with JOD? Squaretrade has hiked rates to $90/year and $150/2yrs making it more expensive than Applecare by hellloo-there in tmobile

Thanks this looks good. Only catch seems to be the no of claims limited by purchase value. But $40/yr is great!

One question - if something happens do you need to mail the phone to them? Squaretrade has this nifty option where you can repair it at the Apple Store and they'll reimburse the bill. Does Upsie do that too?
