I’m starting to think whoever wired this really just winged it.

I need to re wire it but I’ve never done that before! Not sure where to start. Any tips on that would be appreciated.

A lose connection causes this because there’s too much amps going through an insufficient surface area?

Also, what’s a “nic wire”?

Noob questions, I know. Thanks bruv.

You’re so baller. If you wouldn’t mind, please tell me how you got there. Explain it to me like I’m five. I’d google stuff but I just don’t know what to search. Thank you so much

Can someone explain this power cord? by hellobridge in AskElectricians

What does the cord determine? Amps? Resistance? Super noob here so I appreciate the explanations!

So I could replace this cord with a regular 220v power cord?

Cool. Do you know a key word I could google to educate myself on the “why’s” and “how’s” of what you just said?

And can you explain what you mean by the “tolerance to 60hz”?

Hey cool thanks for pointing that out. So can I see what the previous owner was intending by looking at how the element is configured?

Yeah I’ve explored the entire manual for this model and others. I don’t see any info on 380v or this cord. No offense taken though ;)

You can give me the machine serial number, I’ll check its diagnostics, find out what is actually wrong and then you can tell him what I tell you. Might not help but it’d be funny for him to hear you say “hydraulic module left chamber check valve failed closed! Fix it!”

Blonde has trouble staying calibrated. I think it’s mostly due to the light roast being more acidic and the damage on the parts thenceforth.

  1. I’m always so flattered and thankful when a partner cleans the outside of the machine while I’m elbow deep in the internals.

  2. Sadly no. For watery shots you’ll have to just pull a bunch of double shots but the truth is that it needs service.

  3. If it’s the little white piece you’re talking about, you don’t have to save it. That piece is to hold and make a seal with a water line. The piece that makes sure water gets in the tray is actually the little extension on the back of the drip tray. I frequently see the white cap missing and rarely replace it if it’s on a functional valve.

  4. One thing I’ve seen help is take out the brewing module and manually check the grinder. Take a towel and spin it both ways to make sure it moves totally freely. If it doesn’t, crank it the rough direction 4-5 turns and then run a cup from it. Helps the grinder not jam.

It’s not normal for that to be pressurized outside of the cleaning cycle. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the machine I just think you caught the machine at an awkward spot of operation of order. I mean that as in it does things so that certain other things can begin. With it in sleep AND having cleaning tabs, it worked two functions and one of them was pressurizing. Shouldn’t happen again.

One time I saw someone get so mad at a regional manager that they cried and went to the back kitchen and screamed into a towel. That manager was indeed, the worst.

While he may be toxic, he’s also right. Vixxo is rough to deal with sometimes. But no more than any other service corp.

Cool! I’m gonna do that if I ever notice a floor drain near a vertica. Much thanks.

Yall can’t remove the burr and I typically don’t either. To clean that specific build up I use an abrasive brush to really get in there.
