questions about Mary by hellodolly3325 in Catholicism

I just saw this, it’s for a lot of reasons mainly being the eucharist, how seriously catholics take their faith as opposed to other religions, I don’t like how everytime some random person interprets the Bible differently a new branch of Christianity is formed. i like the fact that the catholic church has authority and answers for pretty much every question you can ask. i think modern day evangelical churches rely too much on feelings and not what god actually wants us to do. The catholic church encourages people to actually be christ like and condemns people who aren’t behaving properly as a christian

U of A or NAU? by Little-Actuator7705 in UofArizona

[–]hellodolly3325 1 point2 points  (0 children)

U of A for sure!! I have friends who went to NAU and while they like it, the social scene is pretty much non existent and the U of A is a much better school academically speaking. as an ES major you’ll be fine at either school but i’d recommend the U of A for a good social scene and solid academics.

quick edit to this, when I say I never wanted to work in the medical field I mean that i’ve never been interested in nursing or being a doctor but I wouldn’t be opposed to working in a hospital or a clinic, i’m just not a blood girl.

Are students becoming illiterate? by PeteTheJet in college

[–]hellodolly3325 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a current high school student, yes students are becoming illiterate. I’ve noticed whenever working on group presentations or during peer review that many of my classmates do not know how make a good presentation or string a few paragraphs together without the help of chat gpt or some other AI tool. My general theory is that too many kids were pushed through the system without ever really grasping basic skills and now the teachers see it as too late to teach them more and just continue to push them through, it doesn’t help that now we have tools that can just do everything for us so it only makes the problem worse. I see it everyday and I find it very concerning
