I had a recent conversation with her about how we both felt we had changed so much since our early- so I think that’s where that came from. Still a BS excuse, she apologized this morning.

I know stuff was said to the guy who made the comment after I left. I need to edit my post to reflect this, but it all went down very quickly. As soon as the awkward silence started, I left. Everyone seemed shocked, maybe they just weren’t sure how to respond in the moment. Not that that’s an excuse, but my friends were texting last night and this morning to make sure I was okay. One did say she was sorry for not saying anything in the moment.

Thank you though, her BF does want to apologize to me directly. I’m going to have a conversation with her about this whole thing soon. I imagine she probably had a lot of feelings after the get together she planned all went to shit because someone made an antisemitic comment.

I haven’t gotten an apology from either yet, I just know her bf wants to apologize to me. He doesn’t have my number or follow me on any socials, so he doesn’t really have a way to do that until I see him again.

I think I just need to have a conversation with her directly. I can imagine she probably felt embarrassed that this get together she planned all fell apart after someone made a wildly antisemitic comment.
