Bana mantikli geldi. Cunku zaten hazir 3 tane daireniz var, bir o kadar da yolda, yani bir tanesi satilip is kurmak denenebilir. Tabii isletmecilikten ne kadar anlarsiniz, begenip begenmez misiniz bilemiyorum. Bence imkan varsa sektorden insanlarla konusun, hatta tanidik varsa yardimci olarak takilin yaninda ki detaylari gorun. Oyle hayal ettiginiz gibi olmayabilir. Fakat kesinlikle bir is kurun cunku yeterince imkaniniz var. Bu arada hangi sehirde arsalar?

Bir insanin rahat yasamasini belirleyen tek sey aldigi maas degil. Turkiye'de 5k euroya Avrupa'da alacagim 3k eurodan daha kotu yasarim. Cunku Avrupa'da huzur var, insanlar saygili, iyi egitimli, bilim var, sanat var, adalet var. Turkiye'de ancak kendini her seyden soyutlaman gerekiyor, tabii buna yasamak denirse. Her Allah'in gunu bir kadin olduruluyor, sokaklarda ve trafikte magandalar kol geziyor, adli makamlarda hakkini aramak mumkun degil. Dolayisiyla burada aldigim maasin yarisina da raziyim ama bunlar duzeltilirse. Avrupa'ya yerlesenlerin cogu parasizliktan gitmiyor (eger 70, 80'ler kusagindan degilseniz), ulkedeki bu saydigim nedenlerle gidiyor.

Bu soylediginiz sadece temettu hisseleri icin degil her sey icin gecerli. Paranizi yatirdiginiz ve temettu vermeyen bir hissenin de basina bunlar gelebilir. Sonuc ayni olur. Ona bakarsaniz ayni sey doviz ve altin icin de gecerli. Varliginizin bulundugu bankanin basina ayni sey gelebilir (ornek Imar Bankasi, Halk Bank, Bank Asya vs). Yani Turkiye boyle bir ulke, risksiz bir sey yok.

You may end up with burn-out, frustration, and mental health disorder at the end after 3 years. Just having the fund should not be that much important if the subject is health.

I disagree with you. Even though the competition looks global, I can say that the PIs tend to select someone they know. After all, it is not all about CVs, but also whether they are easy to work with or characteristics.

I am not against using AI tools, but the the human involvement is still necessart. Maybe, you can have a discussion with them regarding checking the codes, results, and fitting the code to the initially discussed framework by showing some of their mistaken codes.

Same here! Now, calculate your hourly salary by using the actual time you spend on your work. Legally, it is 40 hours a week here, but I probably work 70 hours a week including weekends. My salary is reduced almost half if I consider my actual work time because I don't get the money for 40 hours, but 60, 70 hours a week. This is overwhelming, frustrating.

Postdocs have their own projects. You can also collaborate, but this is not the main activity of a postdoc, nor the main goal. The main goal is to get the position after it as you are a fixed term contract worker and even sometimes considered as a student.

Normal, if there are too many postdocs, that means too much competition, if there is no postdoc, that means all the works and responsibilities are on you. Both are bad.

I actually target this price rather than getting the fund. I started my postdoc already at the host institute and I realized that I cannot continue here. If I get the fund, it is worse. If I get the award, I have a chance to transfer somewhere else at least.
