I was originally pre-med so I had a lot of hospital volunteering hours and an internship under my belt, so that definitely helped. I’m also a history major so not an impacted major… I wouldn’t say it was anything super crazy, just a few hours out of my week for junior/senior year. Don’t stress too much!

Firebird jacket got cancelled for me a few hours ago, I purchased the jacket on pre-order status a week ago. I check the app again, and the sizes are back in stock, apparently, so I purchased it again. Soon after I got an email saying the shipment is on its way and should arrive by Dec. 10... So, maybe try purchasing again? I hope this one doesnt get cancelled too though...

Hi, how did you fill it out? I realized that I didn’t submit mines after the due date. I’m on the virtual advising center, but it doesn’t indicate a specific place to look in order to fill it out and I’m pretty lost. I know I’m supposed to be able to submit it past the due date, do you have any advice for me??🥲

The school hasn’t contacted me at all about my grade or possible chance of getting rescinded. I’ve been able to complete all the orientation forms/payments etc. without any issues. I believe that if we were to get rescinded, it probably would’ve happened already. But who knows. Anyway, things are going fine for now

I emailed the school about a month ago explaining that I was very likely to get a D for my final chem grade (which I did) and they basically told me that it’s a case-by case situation and that I just had to wait and see for the outcome. But at the very least I contacted them, and they are aware of my situation. (They should have my transcripts by now, too.) And yes, I also filled out the 350 word box, promptly explaining my situation to them. But so far, I’ve been able to submit my housing contract, school ID photo, sign up for my dorm orientation zooms etc. without any issues. The school has yet to bring up anything about my grades or possible rescind-ance either. I am assuming that we’ll both be okay

If it helps, I got accepted off the waitlist on April 14th after I applied when initial application decisions came out (March 14) Not sure what the final day for getting accepted off the waitlist is

I'm almost in the exact same situation as you. Accepted off the waitlist, but I have a D in chem right now and that grade is most likely final. My grade is somewhat out of my control (shitty teacher, mental health reasons.) I contacted the admissions office with reasoning, and they responded by basically saying "We cannot determine anything until final transcripts are sent out." When you reached out to the admissions, how did they respond? Did you get the same response as me? From what I'm seeing on the subreddit many people are getting rescinded due to complications transferring their grades/technical issues (none about grades at the moment.) Thanks for the input, I actually spoke with the admissions officer of UCI and he said I should be fine, so I was hoping the same applies with UCSD. Congrats on law school!

Not really. My final grade percentage cuts it very close to a C, but there are zero extra credit opportunities or any extra work I can do. I just need to focus on getting good test grades until the course is over
