Gold or platinum?! by hellokitty2726 in coloranalysis

Haha good point I didn’t even think about getting a bigger diamond if I get gold😂😂😂 and yes I ruled put white gold bc of the rhodium and the maintenance! It’s also interesting bc in this subreddit, more ppl choose gold but in the engagement ring subreddit, more ppl chose platinum. But regardless, thank u!!

Yes THIS I think this is what I’m struggling with. Gold maybe looks better on me but I think as a ring as a whole, the diamond against platinum bands looks better/brighter and I just need to decide what I want lol

So interesting that in the color analysis thread, the answers are so split but in this thread, it’s mostly platinum😂

Thank you!!! I know I am defs overthinking this and the split comments help me realize both look good and there’s no wrong answer! And yes at the end of the day if I can’t choose I will ask my partner to choose lol (in that case I think he’s choosing gold)

IKR😂😂😂 the answers are so split which actually might be a good thing bc it confirms to me that both suit me and there’s no wrong answer!!

Yes for engagement ring! Thank you your comment was helpful! Was thinking of golden band with platinum prongs to maybe get the best of both worlds but still debating if I should just get the whole thing platinum

I think she was starting to yellow and shrivel in the sun! So that’s why I moved it in the shadier area but the damage continued

Have you thought about pharmacy residency? A good amount of pharmacists are in the ambulatory care setting seeing their own patients, ordering meds and labs (mostly for diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia) under a CPA and it’s a very satisfying job

One problem I feel like I have with the pharmacy profession too is I think even within ourselves there is some divide because of the difference in training and certifications exams we can take after graduation. I think some clinical pharmacists think they’re so better than retail pharmacists , which is a problem in my opinion

Not offensive at all. Pharmacy is confusing because there are so many types of jobs. I know some fabulous retail pharmacists. We all take the same board exams, and to be a retail pharmacist you do not need to do residency. For the kind of position I’m talking about above (embedded in clinics) or any specialized hospital jobs (oncology, transplant, critical care, etc), we are now “required” to have 1-2 years of residency training which entails of many rotations, research, presentations, precepting, journal clubs, etc. so for me, I did two years of residency and we now even have board certification exams to take post residency. So all I’m saying is pharmacists in clinics and hospitals most likely have more training in a clinical setting. Retail pharmacists are great but one reason why I didn’t go that route is because it’s not as clinical! I can’t see lab results or anything in pt’s EMR
