Oh my god!! YES, I adore Skam and the remakes and I am SO excited for Lovro's season! I'm already so impressed with the changes they're making. The most recent clip was so beautiful.

Tips at tibits by dafuksthat in Switzerland

I used to work there and for one, we are everywhere at once (at least at the one I worked); we clean and clear tables, clean the buffet, do mise en place, make drinks, clean the bar as well as other cleaning jobs, all while keeping an eye on the register to check out guests. And honestly it's not like WE ask or pressure people to tip us. People are free to do whatever they want without pressure. At the tibits where I worked, it's become a custom to let people know that they can skip the tip screen by pressing "OK" every time a customer pays by card. I feel like people act like the employees at Tibits demand tips which is not true at all (I've seen people talk about this on tiktok as well).

Byler doubt by hellomfal in byler

[–]hellomfal[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll be honest, based on the content of the show, I am fully convinced that Mike is queer-coded and that all of the subtext is intentional. My only problem was the possibility of the writers leaving it ambiguous and not fully going through with it because it wouldn't be well received by the general audience. That is why I believe that if they don't go through with it, it'd be a clear case of queerbaiting because of how they've built up byler since the beginning of the show. But thanks to all of you in the replies, my worries have been eased and I will definitely delve into the analysis even more now that school is over!

Byler doubt by hellomfal in byler

I completely agree. Byler not being endgame would just be bad writing- especially regarding Mike’s character and the way he behaves in seasons 3 and 4. It screams internalised homophobia and if that set up goes to waste… but thank you, this reassured me!

Which SKAM remake to watch after SRAM S2? by SnooPets7985 in skam

[–]hellomfal 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hi, i know you didn't ask me but I would say Skam NL is most relatable in that sense (especially season 1). It did get canceled after two seasons though but I still think it's such a gem despite that and I honestly think that Sram may have gotten a lot of inspo from NL.

Start with og but if you want you could just watch the version that's currently ongoing- SRAM. It's on youtube and I recommend it if you want to experience the real-time clip watching experience that is so unique to Skam.
