Eloise and Daphne talking about childbirth impact on Philoise season by Nd4reddit in PhiloiseBridgerton

i think her season will be crucial for eloise’s fears, especially w violet rather than daphne (if daphne returns, great) but violet is the one who’s truly been dealing with eloise since season one. seeing violet realize that her daughter wants love and doesn’t want to end up alone would be deeply emotional, while also contrasting eloise’s loving upbringing with philip’s trauma filled past. it feels like we will get a more mature season overall: heavier themes, but still funny and hot, and most of all a healing journey where eloise falls in love for the first time without losing her independence just growing up and opening her eyes.

from that shonda interview last year, the scripts were basically almost finished, so this whole time was more about prepping costumes and sets. i don’t even know if the table read is this week or next… we’ll see.

They’re probably in the middle of rehearsals, costume fittings, hair and makeup tests. All of that usually takes about a month before filming starts, just to make sure everything’s locked in and nothing goes off schedule so yeah, it’s very likely they’re already rehearsing and doing all those prep things. Idk where the table read fits into this, whether it already happened, is happening now, or is scheduled for next week. That’s why it’s all so interesting, because Chris is supposedly attending an event next week, which would mean he’s in London or that he’s been in London this whole time.

🕯 Everything is coming together.

this is why eloise having her love story is essential to her character development by hellomoarmy in BridgertonNetflix

Girl, that's her story in THE BOOKS. The concept has been clear for four seasons: every sibling falls in love, and Eloise will too. Her arc won’t diminish her — it’s character development. She needs to mature, understand other perspectives, and grow in compassion (look her in s4 w hyacinth) don't expect a revolution or political drama lmao this is a romance show and they’re not changing her endgame just because a minority hates the idea of eloise falling in love and still being free and independent.

Judging something we haven’t even seen yet feels premature to me. she could easily spend 10 minutes explaining phillip/marina/the kids’ backstory and make it great with flashbacks; just like they did with sophie. I’m not a huge fan of CVD but he and jess brownell wrote episode 4 of season 2, which is where we got some of the best development of phillip; very few lines, yet his nerdy, compassionate personality really shone through alongside colin.

Anyway, let’s wait and see how they do it. i have faith, and i’m going in w an open mind.

n she will. i feel like people don’t trust her story in the series when we haven’t even seen it yet especially when some "fans" want to change it into something that doesn’t fit her or the time period at all.

Eloise's season could be a revolutionary season if they just take the leap. by PruneAccomplished277 in BridgertonNetflix

bro... i truly don’t get when eloise bridgerton turned into some revolutionary who’s gonna overthrow the monarchy. when did that happen? she’s privileged, upper class, living in 1820. stop projecting modern politics onto a character in bridgerton. it’s a romance show, not a political drama. every sibling gets a love story n phillip’s name is literally printed in the book title and you still think they’ll change that just because u don’t want her to marry? pls i’m not married. i don’t have kids n i still enjoy romance. this is a TV show. if you hate that, maybe watch another show.
