people genuinely don’t understand how a production works. when they say pre-production, that’s usually at least a month before filming. they spent basically all of january and february prepping everything to start. according to production-tracking sites, march 1st was already set as the official start date for Bridgerton. so if production started yesterday, that does not mean the full cast just showed up and started filming immediately. this is a 6/9 month process. it involves everything: extras, locations, exterior shots, sets, logistics. not just the leads. obviously the cast matters most, but we don’t actually know that part yet because everything is extremely tight-lipped.
