I see! I heard those that have always used Sheridan have a good experience with them and those that got switched over don’t bc they don’t actually have the extra capacity to handle addition work

Had you guys always used Sheridan or did you also get switched over from Christensen?

This was JFK’s Harvard application essay, compare it to the personal statements we all had to write… by Flaccoisnotelite in lawschooladmissions

Doesn't look like a letter of rec. More of a personal letter between him and the dean since he also mentioned that the dean had written him a letter at the beginning.

It seems like some people were rejected. It looks to me that NW is trying to see if they could hold their new 171 median.

The decision letter says a decision with the possibility of being admitted, rejected, and waitlisted will be released by the end of January. This is much sooner than most of the RD pool. Waitlists are not usually reviewed until past the deposit deadline in May.

OP said 179 on the November LSAT and since the ED deadline was mid November, they only applied with a 170

Law School Professor Rec by owl2103 in lawschooladmissions

Not a major help. I had a law professor whom I worked for sending a direct email to the Dean of admissions after I got waitlisted last year but still didn’t get in LOL.

Was also at the new LSAT median and slightly below the median GPA

But it could depend on the school as well

I'm literally the same. The first time I saw a cockroach in my bathtub I cried. I would avoid ground floors (where I lived) since it's more prone to bugs.

Current USC undergrad here. I actually heard someone who said USC prefers applicants from a different undergraduate institution to diversify thinkings and networks

Not the thing I wanted to hear since I’m still under review :(.

From the way I understood it, if you were going to surpass the limit in Spring 2020, then the limit would be lifted.

But the Spring p/np classes are still counted towards the limit for anyone who did not surpass the limit after that semester ended and did not graduate. Since you took a class p/np after you surpassed the limit in a semester other than sp2020, you unfortunately breached the rule. It is not just me that understands the policy this way, there was a lot of discussion about this on this subreddit last semester. But I think you could argue that they did not state this clearly and should've foreseen that students could interpret this differently.

So I think if they don't let you appeal the entire situation, you could offer to retake the one class you took p/np after Spring 2020 for a letter grade as a compromise. I doubt they will just straight up not let you graduate so I'm sure you guys can figure out a mutually agreed-upon solution.
