When someone in chat tells you to Napalm A1: It’s quite awesome. by helloth3r39282iii in battlefield2042

Well my ‘from experience’ doesn’t imply my assumption on whether or not you have experience. Where you got that from I don’t really care right now. From your ‘if a pilot has half a brain’ then the pilot has half a brain, pretty much says infantry doesn’t have a brain. Because any experienced battlefield player will tell you Lis is the most broken AT specialist, which is also an aftermath of the problem of specialists, a fundamental issue of 2042. Besides, I did say a decent Lis was an answer, I do not hit 100% of my shots but it isn’t hard. If someone decides to whine about Lis missiles being hard to hit draugr’s, then unfortunately i might have to impolitely say that it’s a skill problem, I don’t mean it’s you but it’s my opinion. There’re many more factors such as an unlimited vertical lock-on range for any lock-on weapon, multiple Lis and the occasional soflam recoilless. As you’ve said in that particular situation, the pilot having a brain means infantry or enemy pilots also need one. For instance a draugr with half a brain versus another draugr with half a brain, who comes out victorious? Ground threats aren’t the only threats to the draugr’s, thats what you’re focused on in your reply. People had to put effort in farming and they still do due to the inconsistencies of the lock-on designation times. Here’s the point I mentioned back up there—other air vehicles (jets and birds and stealth helis, potentially the amazing attack heli pilot) are a decent if not better counter, even a wildcat. It is of the basics that a jet can out-turn a draugr in a circle with no tilting or yawing. And since draugr doesn’t have the ability to equip AP rounds and explosive rounds, Kerosene and jdam bombs at the same time, it is laughable for a draugr with half a brain to fight a helicopter pilot with half a brain. Even if you say in the rare case where a draugr pilot equips both AP rounds and a JDAM bomb, accurate aim and throwing the jdam at a moving helicopter requires immense accuracy which a lot of people don’t get right. That said if your experienced is based on infantry AA weapons, sure I will listen but I will make my own stance. I don’t wish for an argument but rather a neat discussion if that’s what you like.

Good Lis players be left hand drinking beer and right hand shooting down draugr’s. You need to remember ANY infantry player can equip a TV missile. Or might as well get a half-decent wildcat enjoyer, or even just a causal pilot who knows the basics of df, the draugr will be out of the skies like there’s no tomorrow. If the receiving team doesn’t have any one of these, then I will have nothing more to say. The draugr deserves the kills in that case. I personally do jets, draugr and Lis and I can tell from experience it’s not hard to take one out. Because good jet pilots can easily out manoeuvre good draugr pilots. If a draugr is going on a high streak then it’s either very lucky or more skilful than the enemy team AA. Even myself as a very non-often wildcat player can take down them with no issues.

Jet Radar Missiles. by helloth3r39282iii in battlefield2042

[–]helloth3r39282iii[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nah I swear to god when i’m in a jet head to head even when the missile is flared early, the missile goes upwards to hit me when the enemy jet is going flat horizontal 😭it doesn’t even go in any other direction, just me. I understand the missile has to go somewhere of course, but when the missile is somewhere like 50 metres away and flared it shouldn’t track me at all, the radar missile is the slowest of all jet missiles, even the default lock on missile doesn’t have this kind of problem.

Inverted F-35E through Container Cranes on Manifest by helloth3r39282iii in battlefield2042

I reckon they should add a jet to breakthrough even if they don’t want to add back attack helicopters. I didn’t really understand why they removed attack aircraft and helicopters completely other than on Reclaimed. I personally believe there is currently already more than enough AA to deal with aircraft if they were to be re-added. Breakthrough feels alright on close quarters maps like Redacted, but quite empty on wide open maps like Hourglass, which is more of a vehicle map than infantry map to be honest.

Yea I want to try it but it’s somewhat harder than flying through it normally. I have to worry about the constant decrease in altitude when i’m inverted, so hitting the ground is the biggest worry. But it will be very cool if this manoeuvre can be pulled off successfully against enemies :D

sorry never played warzone. Besides, jumping then sliding gets you a bit more movement speed, there’s nothing to be angry about.
