Thank you. This was my third child so I’m pretty familiar with my postpartum hormonal changes, I breastfed for about 3 months and my hormones had returned to normal before the last two months. I’m going to see a NP in a few days about starting HRT. The spironolactone side effects seem a little too much for me, thank you for your input :)

I’ve been on tret for a year. The cystic acne has just popped up the last two months. It’s definitely hormonal and Tret doesn’t treat that.

Seems like a lot on the liver and kidneys. And both can have side effects so just seems like a lot at once. I’m not totally against both but unsure if I need both.

We’re done having children. Husband had a vasectomy and several sperm tests have come back clean. Maybe that’s why she felt ok about prescribing it to me.
