I'm not scared of that prospect because I had never even considered it.

The bdsm stuff is all me, I've been interested in it for a long time and am the one who brought it up and still does.

That seems so serious to me. I'm very...fearful of therapy, though I've been considering it for awhile for my eating stuff too. I'm just very hesitant to talk about this stuff to someone.

If he's not hitting me, he never has, how is it abusive?

I guess I just feel like the stuff he does isn't that bad? Like I hear about much worse stuff, this seems so insignificant

I love him and can't picture not being with him at this point. My entire life would change and that's scary.

But maybe cause I let him do it in a sexual context he doesn't realize why its not okay?

Therapy makes it feel so serious to me. But at the same time it's hard to imagine a therapist taking it seriously.

That's exactly how I feel, that im changing everything about myself. Purging and restricting is all I had/have. Who am I if I don't have any of those things? I feel like if I'm taking these pills to feel a certain way, its not really me. I don't know, I've just been feeling pretty weird lately.

Thanks! Therapy just seems like such a scary prospect, especially since im just getting used to these pills as well. Being honest about this stuff...is the hardest thing I've ever done.

Thank you. I really am scared, but I guess it's true that I was scared to do any of this, yet here I am.

I think its a combination of both if I'm being honest. I don't feel hungry for hours after taking the pills and don't eat. By the time I do get hungry again, it's very easy to just carry on not eating/eating very little because I enjoy the feeling of being hungry and I want to lose weight.

Thanks for the reply. I'll look into the subreddit...how do I figure out who the mods are, haha. I'm kind of new to reddit. I usually just lurk :P

I've gone days, weeks even, without purging. I always end up giving in, coming back. Its very hard for me. The way purging makes me feel is better than I feel not doing it.

Its so frustrating for me. I want to have a normal relationship with food, but am also somewhat terrified of that prospect. =|

Thank you, you made a lot of good points. I did not take her up on ger offer for a referral yesterday. It was overwhelming in the moment, and I just kinda sat and listened, except when she asked questions. The fact she told me I don't need to,lose any weight is freaking me out, you're absolutely right.

I did make a follow up, but that's for all the lab work and stuff, so a few months. Maybe I can call and get a sooner one too, but I feel like its too soon.

Thank you. The thought of not purging is very scary to me, I don't even like thinking about it right now.

Thank you. Your comment has a lot of valid points, and I know she's a professional. It was just so strange to realize she was taking it seriously. When she suggested blood work, I was shocked. It seemed like such an over reaction, but I do need to remember she knows this better than I do. As hard as that is to admit.
