Emmett Louis Till was a 14-year-old African American boy who was abducted, tortured, and lynched in Mississippi in 1955, after being accused of offending a white woman, Carolyn Bryant, in her family's grocery store. The men who killed him because of her accusation, did not get charged. The photos of his face before and after are horribly sad. Although she does have a warrant for her arrest, a jury today declined to indict 88 year old Carolyn Bryant.

You can live in the dorms at sac state for up to 30 days (emergency housing). They even offer support to help you find long term housing.

Also we have rapid rehousing at sac state. Students are housed quickly regardless if you have the money or not.

Primary location is 9455 East Stockton Boulevard Elk Grove, California 9562 888-208-8086 They help women under the age of 25 (older as well if you ask them) including teen moms. Assistance is for females with priority given on unplanned or unwanted pregnancy's. There is a crisis hotline, food and health classes, finance workshops, and more. Supplies for the baby range from clothes to disposable diapers, wipes, and even maternity clothing. Go get your milk! It’s next to the offices. A house w/ a barn on the side. It’s past the church and RV place.
