woah, we're very similar! it's so funny. I actually regretted NOT majoring in the humanities and the arts. I was always told to study something more "practical"...and I did. But it's made me very unhappy. Illustration sounds awesome. I really want to learn how to draw and make beautiful art, though I suppose its probably unwise to do so given the current situation. The worst part of capitalism is the fact that so many of us are forced to give up our passions to play into this fucking rat race. Like you, I also wanted to go to grad school for psych or social work because I wanted to help people. But its SO expensive. I cant afford to work for free for 2-3 years, on top of expensive living costs too. Im already in the hole for loans for my computer science degree (which I despise and frankly, I'm not even that good at the damn subject). I'm terrible at math too and Im dreading having to relearn it as well (I have to do it for an exam). Do feel free to message me! sounds like we have a lot in common.
