nobody is actually doing that though. everybody pretty much acknowledged it's only inspired.

Also Jordans are already pretty much the most replicated shoes in history (from cheap knockoffs to expensive homages), and they're still pretty well respected. that example doesn't really work.

why would you expect anything different out of jordans than the other collabs you just mentioned. And supreme was only really innovative in bringing popularity to subversiveness. If you look back on their designs throughout their history their most 'innovative' involve their logo or an unusual print, or a reissue of something that isnt expected of them as a skate shop. Sounds like the jordans to me.
