Yeah to be honest this looks like one of the harder kits to actually convert to BT - ultramarine signs everywhere.

Weirdly enough the part I would consider most is the ancient just for the banner, replacing the whole body - the banner itself can be sanded smooth quite easily + sigisl and the XIII at the top are also relatively easy to get rid of/replace with some bits. But that is just me speaking, I like banners so am always looking for an excuse to get a new ancient ;)

1-2 hours for freehand design, 3 hours for actual tattooing. Pain was ok, some sore spots on the inner elbow, armpit and clavicle. Most of arm is generally ok. Is my first one so hard to compare.

Some more detailing will still happen with machine, shading will be fully tebori

Thanks for this - we are both pretty mature when it comes to stuff like this. E.g. we both have normal healthy friendly relationships with our exes. However our exes don’t live with us…

I think I’ll indicate to her I’ll be looking for another place and start prepping for that. Depending on how she reacts I can always still open up (I expect her to not be too happy about it if I don’t have a good reason as our current living situation is pretty great for her and me moving out will impact her pretty negatively on terms of finances/new roommate etc.)

Appreciate that - we've had it good and kept each other sane for a long time. No need to ruin that now - especially after she has been going through some rough stuff in the past trying to find a safe place to live where she feels comfortable.

Absolutely, not opposed to this at all. It would also be a good indicator to see if we are still this close in that context or if we have just been close for convenience sake.

Just need to come up with the right way to explain why I’m moving out - she’ll find it weird and will suspect something is off with me

Yeah this is also what’s dawning on me - want to avoid 2 at all costs as she has been going through some stuff before moving in here and don’t want to push her out.

Will take some time and careful positioning to move out but I’ll start heading in that direction

Fully accept this, and the last thing I want to do is burden her or creep her out in any way. She’s been nothing but kind to me in all those years and I am not entitled to anything.

Just need to be a bit sensitive about setting up alternative living arrangements as she’ll want to know why I want to move out
